Privacy Policy

We built HappyPie Player Pro to keep your information on your own device. This page explains, in plain words, what information is involved when you use the app and this website.

What stays on your device

Your playlists, provider logins, favorites, watch history, settings and parental PIN are saved only on the device where you use HappyPie Player Pro. We don't receive them, and we can't see them.

Who the app connects to

• Your playlist provider: to load the channels, movies and series you've added. Your provider's own privacy policy applies to what they receive.
• TV guide links: to show what's on, from your playlist's guide, links you add yourself or, on Android if you turn it on, free public TV guides for the country you choose.
• Radio: to list and play internet radio stations, from a public station directory and the stations themselves.
• Pictures: channel logos and posters are loaded from the addresses your playlist gives.

These connections are made directly from your device. Like any internet request, the services you connect to can see your device's internet (IP) address.

What we receive

• When you buy on this website: payments are handled by PayPal. We receive your name, email address and the details of your purchase, so we can deliver your license and help you if something goes wrong. We never see your card or bank details.
• Activation (when available): to check that a device's license has been paid for, the app may send a device code and its license status to our activation service.
• When you email us: we receive your email and whatever you choose to tell us.
• This website: it is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information.
• We don't show ads, and we don't track what you watch.
• We don't collect your playlists, logins or viewing history.

Children

HappyPie Player Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. The parental PIN lets adults lock categories on their own devices.

Your choices

You can delete everything the app saved by removing your playlists in the app, clearing the app's data, or uninstalling it. To ask about, or delete, any purchase information we hold, email us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
